ܘܟܕ ܓܡܪ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܠܡܨܠܝܘ ܢܘܪܐ ܢܚܬܬ ܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܐܟܠܬ ܥܠܘ̈ܬܐ ܘܕܒ̈ܚܐ ܘܐܝܩܪܐ ܕܫܟܝܢܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܬܡܠܝ ܒܝܬܐ
wkd gmr shlymwn lmtslyw nwr' nkhthth mn shmy' w'klth elwth' wdbkh' w'yqr' dshkynthh dmry' 'thmly byth'
Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and Yahweh’s glory filled the house.

ܘܠܐ ܡܫܟܚܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܠܡܥܠ ܠܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܬܡܠܝ ܠܗ ܒܝܬܐ ܐܝܩܪ ܫܟܝܢܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ
wl' mshkkhyn hww khn' lmel lbythh dmry' mTl d'thmly lh byth' 'yqr shkynthh dmry'
The priests could not enter into Yahweh’s house, because Yahweh’s glory filled Yahweh’s house.

ܘܟܠ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܚܙ̇ܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܟܕ ܢܚܬܬ ܢܘܪܐ ܘܐܝܩܪ ܫܟܝܢܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܬܡܠܝ ܒܝܬܐ ܘܢܦܠܘ ܥܠ ܐܦܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܥܠ ܪ̈ܨܝܦܬܐ ܘܣܓܕܘ ܘܐܡ̇ܪܝܢ ܓܒܪ ܠܚܒܪܗ ܐܘܕܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܕܛܒ ܗܘ ܘܠܥܠܡ ܛܝܒܘܬܗ

All the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and Yahweh’s glory was on the house. They bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, worshiped, and gave thanks to Yahweh, saying, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever!”

ܘܡܠܟܐ ܘܟܘܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܡܕܒܚܝܢ ܕܒܚ̈ܐ ܠܡܪܝܐ

Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before Yahweh.

ܘܕܒܚ ܡܠܟܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܕܒܚܬܐ ܬܘܪ̈ܐ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܘܬܪܝܢ ܐ̈ܠܦܝܢ ܘܥܢܐ ܡܐܐ ܘܥܣܪܝܢ ܐ̈ܠܦܝܢ ܘܚܕܬܘ ܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܡܠܟܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܘܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ
wdbkh mlk' shlymwn dbkhth' thwr' esryn wthryn 'lpyn wen' m'' wesryn 'lpyn wkhdthw bythh dmry' mlk' shlymwn wklh em'
King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand head of cattle and a hundred twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated God’s house.

ܘܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܩ̇ܝܡܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܥܠ ܬܫܡܫܬܗܘܢ ܘܠܘ̈ܝܐ ܒܡܐ̈ܢܐ ܕܬܫܒ̈ܚܬܐ ܡܫܒܚܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܘܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܬܫܒܚ̈ܬܗܘܢ ܐܘܕܘ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܕܛܒ ܗܘ ܘܠܥܠܡ ܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܒܬܫܒܚ̈ܬܐ ܕܕܘܝܕ ܘܟܗ̈ܢܐ ܡܫܒܚܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܩܪ̈ܢܬܐ ܟܦܝ̈ܦܬܐ ܘܦܫܝ̈ܛܬܐ ܘܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܩܐ̇ܡ

The priests stood, according to their positions; the Levites also with instruments of music of Yahweh, which David the king had made to give thanks to Yahweh, when David praised by their ministry, saying “For his loving kindness endures forever.” The priests sounded trumpets before them; and all Israel stood.

ܘܩܕܫ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܓܘܗ̇ ܕܕܪܬܐ ܕܐܝܬ ܩܕܡ ܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܐܣܩ ܠܬܡܢ ܕܒܚ̈ܐ ܘܬܪܒܐ ܕܫܠܡ̈ܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܕܒܚܐ ܕܢܚܫܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܙܥܘܪ ܗܘܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܫܟܚ ܗܘܐ ܠܡܣܝܒܪܘ ܕܒܚ̈ܐ ܘܢܫܝܦܐ ܘܬܪܒܐ ܕܫ̈ܠܡܐ
wqdsh shlymwn gwh ddrth' d'yth qdm bythh dmry' mTl d'sq lthmn dbkh' wthrb' dshlm' mTl dmdbkh' dnkhsh' debd shlymwn zewr hw' wl' mshkkh hw' lmsybrw dbkh' wnshyp' wthrb' dshlm'
Moreover Solomon made the middle of the court that was before Yahweh’s house holy; for there he offered the burnt offerings and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offering, the meal offering, and the fat.

ܘܥܒܕ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܒܗ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܥܐܕܐ ܫܒܥܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ ܘܟܠܗ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܥܡܗ ܟܢܘܫ̈ܬܐ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܬܐ ܡܢ ܐܢܛܝܘܟ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܢܚܠܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܢ

So Solomon held the feast at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt.

ܫܒܥܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ ܕܥܐܕܐ ܘܫܒܥܐ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ ܕܚܘܕܬܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܘܗܠܝܢ ܗܘܐ ܚܘܫܒܢܗܘܢ ܐܪܒܬܥܣܪ ܝܘܡ̈ܝܢ
shbe' ywmyn de'd' wshbe' ywmyn dkhwdthh dbyth' hlyn whlyn hw' khwshbnhwn 'rbthesr ywmyn
On the eighth day, they held a solemn assembly; for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

ܘܒܝܘܡܐ ܕܟܣܐܐ ܒܗ ܒܝܪܚܐ ܕܬܫܪܝ ܫܕܪ ܡܠܟܐ ܠܥܡܐ ܘܒܪܟܘ ܠܡܠܟܐ ܥܡܐ ܘܐܙܠܘ ܠܩܘܪ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܟܕ ܚ̇ܕܝܢ ܘܛܒ ܠܒܗܘܢ ܘܡܘܕܝܢ ܘܡܫܒܚܝܢ ܥܠ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܛܒ̈ܬܐ ܕܥܒܕ ܡܪܝܐ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܥܒ̣ܕܗ ܘܠܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܒܪܗ ܘܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܥܡܗ

On the twenty-third day of the seventh month, he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that Yahweh had shown to David, to Solomon, and to Israel his people.

ܘܗܘܐ ܕܟܕ ܫܠܡ ܡܠܟܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܠܡܒܢܐ ܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܠܒܝܬܐ ܕܡܠܟܐ ܘܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܡܬܪܥܐ ܗܘܐ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܠܡܥܒܕ ܒܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܘܒܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܠܟܐ ܡܟܫܪ ܗܘܐ
whw' dkd shlm mlk' shlymwn lmbn' bythh dmry' wlbyth' dmlk' wklmdm dmthre' hw' shlymwn lmebd bbythh dmry' wbbythh dmlk' mkshr hw'
Thus Solomon finished Yahweh’s house and the king’s house; and he successfully completed all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in Yahweh’s house and in his own house.

ܘܐܬܓܠܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܥܠ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܒܠܠܝܐ ܗ̇ܘ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗ ܫܡܥܬ ܨܠܘܬܟ ܘܓܒܝܬ ܕܘܟܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܠܝ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܕܕܒܚܬܐ
w'thgly mry' el shlymwn blly' hw w'mr lh shmeth tslwthk wgbyth dwkth' hd' ly lbyth' ddbkhth'
Then Yahweh appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, “I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for myself for a house of sacrifice.

ܐܢ ܐܨܒܐ ܐܟܠܐ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܠܐ ܢܚܘܬ ܡܛܪܐ ܘܐܢ ܐܨܒܐ ܐܦܩܘܕ ܥܠ ܩܡܨܐ ܘܢܐܟܠܝܗ̇ ܠܐܪܥܐ ܘܐܢ ܐܨܒܐ ܐܓܪܐ ܡܘܬܢܐ ܒܥܡܝ
'n 'tsb' 'kl' shmy' wl' nkhwth mTr' w'n 'tsb' 'pqwd el qmts' wn'klyh l're' w'n 'tsb' 'gr' mwthn' bemy
“If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people,

ܘܢܬܬܒܪܘܢ ܥܡܝ ܕܐܬܩܪܝ ܫܡܝ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܘܢܨܠܘܢ ܘܢܒܥܘܢ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܘܢܗܦܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܘܪ̈ܚܬܗܘܢ ܒܝ̣̈ܫܬܐ ܘܐܢܐ ܐܫܡܥ ܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ ܘܐܫܒܘܩ ܠܚܛܗ̈ܝܗܘܢ ܘܐܣܐ ܐܪܥܗܘܢ
wnththbrwn emy d'thqry shmy elyhwn wntslwn wnbewn mn qdmy wnhpkwn mn 'wrkhthhwn byshth' w'n' 'shme mn shmy' w'shbwq lkhThyhwn w's' 'rehwn
if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

ܘܐܦ ܗܫܐ ܥ̈ܝܢܝ ܢܗ̈ܘܝܢ ܦܬܝ̈ܚܢ ܘܐܕ̈ܢܝ ܨܝ̈ܬܢ ܠܨܠܘܬܐ ܕܕܘܟܬܐ ܗܕܐ
w'p hsh' eyny nhwyn pthykhn w'dny tsythn ltslwth' ddwkth' hd'
Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to prayer that is made in this place.

ܘܐܦ ܗܫܐ ܓܒܝܬ ܠܝ ܒܝܬܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܬܗܘܐ ܒܗ ܫܟܝܢܬܝ ܠܥܠܡ ܢܗܘܘܢ ܥܒܕ̈ܝ ܫܦܝܪ̈ܐ ܘܨܒܝ̈ܢܝ ܡܬܥܒܕܝܢ ܒܓܘܗ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܝܘ̈ܡܬܐ
w'p hsh' gbyth ly byth' hn' dthhw' bh shkynthy lelm nhwwn ebdy shpyr' wtsbyny mthebdyn bgwh klhwn ywmth'
For now I have chosen and made this house holy, that my name may be there forever; and my eyes and my heart will be there perpetually.

ܘܐܢܬ ܐܢܗܘ ܕܬܗܠܟ ܩܕܡܝ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܗܠܟ ܕܘܝܕ ܐܒܘܟ ܒܬܡܝܡܘܬܐ ܕܠܒܐ ܘܒܬܪܝܨܘܬܐ ܠܡܥܒܕ ܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܦܩܕܬܟ ܘܦܘ̈ܩܕܢܝ ܘܢܡܘ̈ܣܝ ܬܛܪ
w'nth 'nhw dthhlk qdmy 'ykn' dhlk dwyd 'bwk bthmymwth' dlb' wbthrytswth' lmebd klmdm dpqdthk wpwqdny wnmwsy thTr
“As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,

ܐܫܪܝܘܗܝ ܟܘܪܣܝܐ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܟ ܠܥܠܡ ܐܝܟ ܕܝܡܝܬ ܠܕܘܝܕ ܐܒܘܟ ܘܐܡܪܬ ܠܗ ܕܠܐ ܢܥܢܕ ܠܟ ܒܪܐ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܕܩܐ̇ܡ ܥܠ ܡܠܟܘܬܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
'shrywhy kwrsy' dmlkwthk lelm 'yk dymyth ldwyd 'bwk w'mrth lh dl' nend lk br' mn qdmy dq'm el mlkwth' d'ysryl
then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, according as I covenanted with David your father, saying, ‘There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.’

ܘܐܢ ܡܗܦܟ ܬܗܦܟܘܢ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܘܒܢܝ̈ܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܘܪܚܝ ܘܠܐ ܬܛܪܘܢ ܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܝ ܘܢܡܘ̈ܣܝ ܕܝܗܒܬ ܩܕܡܝܟܘܢ ܘܬܦܠܚܘܢ ܠܦܬܟܪ̈ܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܬܣܓܕܘܢ ܠܗܘܢ
w'n mhpk thhpkwn 'nthwn wbnykwn mn 'wrkhy wl' thTrwn pwqdny wnmwsy dyhbth qdmykwn wthplkhwn lpthkr' demm' wthsgdwn lhwn
But if you turn away and forsake my statutes and my commandments which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,

ܐܒܕܪܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܝܗܒܬ ܠܟܘܢ ܘܒܝܬܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܩܕܫܬ ܠܫܡܝ ܐܥܩܪܝܘܗܝ ܡܢ ܩܕܡܝ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܡܬܠܐ ܘܠܬܫܥܝܬܐ ܒܝܬ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡܡ̈ܐ
'bdrkwn mn 're' dyhbth lkwn wbyth' hn' dqdshth lshmy 'eqrywhy mn qdmy wnhw' 'ysryl lmthl' wlthsheyth' byth klhwn emm'
then I will pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have made holy for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

ܘܒܝܬܐ ܗܢܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܚ̇ܪܒ ܘܟܠ ܡ̇ܢ ܕܢܥܒܪ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܢܩܘܡ ܘܢܢܝܕ ܪܝܫܗ ܘܢܢܝܦ ܒܐܝܕܗ ܘܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܡܢܐ ܥܒܕ ܡܪܝܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܠܩܪܝܬܐ ܗܕܐ ܪܒܬܐ ܘܠܒܝܬܐ ܗܢܐ
wbyth' hn' nhw' khrb wkl mn dnebr elwhy nqwm wnnyd ryshh wnnyp b'ydh wn'mrwn mTl mn' ebd mry' hkn' lqryth' hd' rbth' wlbyth' hn'
This house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say, ‘Why has Yahweh done this to this land and to this house?’

ܘܢܐܡܪܘܢ ܥܠ ܕܫܒܩܘ ܕܝܬܩܐ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܐܒܗ̈ܬܗܘܢ ܕܐܦܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܡܨܪܝܢ ܘܐܙܠܘ ܕܚܠܘ ܠܐܠܗ̈ܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܦܠܚܘ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܣܓܕܘ ܠܗܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܝܬܝ ܡܪܝܐ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ ܒܝܫ̈ܬܐ ܗܠܝܢ
wn'mrwn el dshbqw dythq' dmry' 'lh' d'bhthhwn d'pq 'nwn mn 're' dmtsryn w'zlw dkhlw l'lh' demm' wplkhw 'nwn wsgdw lhwn mTl hn' 'ythy mry' elyhwn byshth' hlyn
They shall answer, ‘Because they abandoned Yahweh, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and took other gods, worshiped them, and served them. Therefore he has brought all this evil on them.’”
